Joe Nieves
Joe was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Lucky enough to have two amazing parents (A homemaker and a firefighter), Joe learned to be brave, passionate, and hard-working. When Joe turned 21, he decided to move to Los Angeles and pursue a career in acting. Utilizing those three character traits of bravery, passion, and a good work ethic, he was able to force his way into a successful acting career.
Along the way, Joe studied with some exceptional coaches and developed his ‘processes’ of being the best artist you can be and navigating your way in this business to become a working professional actor. Because there are plenty of talented artists that aren’t working. Joe has been coaching actors of all levels, from beginners to working pros, since 2010. Joe focuses on providing a safe, welcoming environment that encourages the artist to feel the freedom to explore and become the absolute fullest artist they can be.
Also, Joe teaches the artist how to take all the necessary steps to give them the best chance at working as an actor/actress. Having studied with coaches who were also actors with tremendous success, Joe believes that his success in the entertainment business as an actor is an important piece that many instructors do not possess. A student has a certain amount of confidence in a coach that’s actually walked the walk and not just talked the talk.
