Everyone wants to figure out how to book a job. Throughout my 25+ year career, I’ve always enjoyed walking into the office and spending valuable time with the CD, producers, and directors. I pride myself on being someone people feel comfortable with and are even excited about hiring once they meet me. I also feel it is incredibly important to show that you are able to take direction well and adapt on the spot to what the director asks for. That’s been a big part of my audition success. With my 4-week intensive, we talk about how to break down the scene, how to make strong choices, how to make our self-tapes as professional as possible, and most importantly how to make them as specific and personal as possible. Specificity and personalization are the keys to auditioning well. In this day and age of mostly self-taping how do we bring our little personal touches and charm to our auditions? Those are some of the topics we deal with as I assist you in sharpening your audition skills and help you have the best chance to book the gig.
